Under the leadership of Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza, 
the Provincial Government of Cotabato continues to fulfill its 
commitment of genuine public service to the barangays by
granting more infra projects.
The projects turned over on October 17 – 18, 2012 consisted of 6 
multi-purpose buildings including repair and renovation of barangay 
hall, 2 road concreting, 1 road network, 1 water system, and 2 covered 
courts amounted to PhP15.3 M.
The recipient barangays are Tuburan and New Panay in Tulunan; 
Magsaysay in Kidapawan City; Poblacion A, Tibao, and New Lawaan in 
M’lang; General Luna in Carmen; Malamote, Taculen, and Kidama in 
Matalam; Cuyapon in Kabacan, and Bulacanon in Makilala.
In her message during the turn over program, Governor Taliño-Mendoza 
emphasized the importance of keeping an open communication line among 
the leaders and the constituents in all levels of governance.
She said that through understanding, government is able to 
efficiently help and support the local government units in realizing the
 common vision of peace and development in the province.
Gregorio S. Lonzaga, barangay chairman of Magsaysay, Kidapawan City, 
thanked the governor and the rest of the officials of (North) Cotabato 
for giving them a covered court which he said will greatly help their 
barangay.
Makilala Mayor Rudy S. Caoagdan and Tulunan Mayor Lani S. Candolada 
both expressed their appreciation to the provincial government of 
Cotabato for its continued support to their respective municipality.
Joining the governor in the same turnover of infrastructure projects 
were 2nd District Board Members Cristobal D. Cadungon, Jose I. Tejada
